Umesh Sharma founded PrepGraph in 2024 after 23+ years in software engineering, specialising in agentic AI platforms. He leads PrepGraph's vision to build an AI tutor that can personalize learning for every student, at scale — one that sets a goal with the student, finds the gaps between them and that goal, and guides them every day toward what's next.

PrepGraph started in the high-pressure world of Indian JEE and NEET preparation and today serves K-12, JEE and NEET learners in India, and K-12, SAT and ACT learners in the United States. How the tutoring itself works is set out, with citations, in the teaching methodology.
